FSC is an international non-profit, multi-stakeholder organization established in 1993 to promote responsible management of the world’s forests both environmentally and socially. FSC makes sure that the forests they certify are protecting plant and animal species, indigenous people’s rights, forest workers’ safety, having educated workers, and much more.
