ESG

Aspire Mobility and our ESG Committee are focused and determined on our goals. We collaborate on many ideas, large and small, to meet our goals and add to our roadmap. Our mission is ongoing. While we are at its infancy stage, we have already achieved many of our goals and added new ones. We are committed and will be transparent in our efforts. Below are an example of some of the efforts we are actively working on, and many more to come soon.

Member engagement

We adopt ESG principles and definitions and include ESG in our values and work plan. Use ESG focus in our decisions and projects. Provide ESG trends and risks. Develop and share toolkits and guidelines. Engage in strategic ESG partnerships with stakeholders and the committee. Provide an ESG voice and communication. Develop ESG vision, goals, and targets for members to pursue together and include them in our strategy.

Education and communication

Since we started our ESG Committee, we have been spreading the word, training, and education regarding sustainability, health and safety, diversity, equality, and inclusion.

Environment
Aspire Mobility Group A/S has always focused on delivering quality in all our services to our customers while considering environmental efforts. Below are some of our efforts. The list will continue to grow as our Committee is motivated and inspired!

  • Since the year 2000, been certified according to the industry-specific quality standard FAIM (FIDI Accredited International Mover). In 2012, Aspire Mobility Group decided to systemize our approach and efforts towards the environment by implementing an ISO 14001 environmental management system.
  • Our office has been paperless since 2013, which is over 10 years of working in a paperless environment.
  • Included in our efforts are proper disposal of used materials and recycling. This is monitored per file and recorded.
  • Recycling of wooden crates.
  • Recycling in our offices.
  • Electric cars are purchased for DSP services.
  • We use paperless welcome kits for relocation services.

Driving for a Better Climate

Aspire Mobility proudly chooses to pay a green surcharge for all of our container pickups to and from Danish Ports. You can read more about this special effort here.

At Aspire Mobility, we are committed to sustainability. We believe our responsibility is to protect the environment and reduce our carbon footprint. We are proud to have recently received a certificate from ANCO, our container transporter to and from the ports.

ANCO has been working hard to reduce its CO2 emissions for several years. In 2023, they invested in several new technologies to help reduce their emissions, including:

Electric trucks
HVO biodiesel

The ANCO certificate is a testament to Aspire Mobility's commitment to sustainability. It symbolizes our partnership with ANCO and our dedication to protecting the environment. We are grateful to ANCO for recognizing our efforts and assisting them in theirs.

We are committed to continuing our efforts to reduce our and our partner's CO2 emissions. We believe it is our responsibility to protect the environment for future generations.

Right to Write

Aspire Mobility is very happy to donate and support the Right-to-Write efforts. It is a unique and simple program designed for people to donate pens and pencils (new or used) to put to good use by collecting and then dispensing them to children in developing countries. Donated pens and pencils are delivered to schools, orphanages, and hospitals by individual volunteers, travelers, and organizations who can distribute them hand to hand, person to person, to children who need them.

UNICEF

In connection with every Family Relocation Package we provide to our clients, we honorably donate annually to Unicef for Every Child.

UNICEF works in the world’s toughest places to reach the most disadvantaged children and adolescents – and to protect the rights of every child everywhere. Across more than 190 countries and territories, we do whatever it takes to help children survive, thrive, and fulfill their potential from early childhood through adolescence.

The world’s largest provider of vaccines, we support child health and nutrition, safe water and sanitation, quality education and skill building, HIV prevention and treatment for mothers and babies, and the protection of children and adolescents from violence and exploitation.

Before, during, and after humanitarian emergencies, UNICEF is on the ground, bringing lifesaving help and hope to children and families. Non-political and impartial, we are never neutral when it comes to defending children’s rights and safeguarding their lives and futures.

Governance

Aspire Mobility Group's governance structure formed an ESG Committee in Q2 2023.
